Focus Areas

In line with Elopak’s holistic approach to sustainability, our vision addresses all key aspects of our value chain. It also comprises both improvements to current activities and processes as well as significant efforts within product and process development.

Most resources are allocated to those areas with the most significant environmental impact, partly in order to control that our standards and policies are adhered to and implemented, partly to push development and improvements.

The key environmental impacts are connected to the sourcing and use of raw materials. Carbon emissions and water usage from manufacturing and use of our products are also important for the sustainability of the beverage carton. Finally, recycling and responsible handling of are key issues and important elements in the overall chain of custody.
