Elopak's blanks manufacturing and printing plants have built extensive practical experience and valued expertise over the years. Elopak aims to offer this wealth of knowledge to our customers and their graphic design teams to help achieve the best possible results for. By involving our experts at the earliest possible stage in the creative process, we can avoid that valuable time and energy being wasted to achieve the best print and design results.

At Elopak’s in-house reproduction and prepress departments we have skilled and helpful specialists using state-of-art equipment to provide reproduction solutions, digital proofs, analogue proofs which ultimately creates a platform for best printing results.

Our Pre Press Centers are able to receive customer's artwork and designs in all current Desktop Publishing programs. We endeavour to ensure that timely and constructive feed-back is given on all artwork delivered.

Once the artwork complies with Elopak's guidelines, we progress to the proofing stage and can offer the following types of print proofs:

Digital Print Proofs

Digital print proofs are made directly from computer to output unit. The characteristics of the printing process are simulated by means of specialist software and target the output profile of the relevant printing press. It is important to note however, that deviations in comparison with the board of the finished packaging may occur. A digital print proof is a sensible alternative to the more expensive analogue proof prints, but minor colour deviations must be expected.

Machine Print Proofs on Carton Board

Machine print proofs are produced on press. In this process the same printing technique, printing inks and board quality are used as for actual blanks printing. Machine print proofs are the most expensive, but they naturally do provide the best match when comparing with final production of our blanks.
