A key strategy for Elopak is to engage all employees in environmental improvements. Only by involving those who have the most intimate knowledge of local ways and conditions in the re-thinking of all aspects of our operations, is it possible to achieve all the small gains which, added up, bring significant improvements.
Through the introduction of employee engagement programme, “Green Challenge”, we have identified and implemented an impressive number of local improvements. The programme, initiated by Corporate Headquarters but “owned” by local management, engages employees through local workshops and individual incentives for employee who contributes ideas and suggestions for improvement.
