Elopak’s TV Debut in Responsible Business Series
The Elopak story has caught the attention of the media company Global Initiatives which promotes positive social change and sustainable global development through international events television and media projects. One such television project is the responsible business series produced by Global Initiatives for international broadcaster CNBC.
The series, now in its third year, is produced in partnership with the United Nations Environment Program and will feature Elopak, as one of the corporate organisations producing effective and positive environmental initiatives.
“It was our green challenge program that attracted the attention of Global Initiatives” says Sveinar Kildal, Environmental Director. The media company’s head of TV production Sabry Fuard says, “The series is part of a long-standing partnership with UN agencies and showcases leading corporations and more grass roots organisations such as NGOs that are developing business-driven solutions for today’s most pressing global challenges, not only for profits and reputation, but because they believe it is the right thing to do. Elopak fits perfectly with this. Its Green Challenge engagement with employees forms the linchpin of its environmental strategy and it is a great story to tell. It will also be available on www.responsiblebusiness.com. The Elopak story demonstrates that little ideas can make a difference, and in this world today that is such an important message.”
