Great nutrition can start with a small yet powerful flax seed – is the mantra from Good Karma Foods, the US-based pioneer of dairy alternative foods and beverages. From its home in Boulder, Colorado the company is growing the plant-based yogurt and milk segment in the US market with a wide range of products made from flax seeds including Good Karma Flaxmilk® packaged in half-gallon Pure-Pak® cartons.
Made with cold-pressed flaxseed oil, Good Karma Flaxmilk® has the same calcium and vitamin D as dairy milk, plus 1,200mg Omega-3 healthy fats in every creamy, delicious and versatile sip. All of the Good Karma Flaxmilk® products are allergen-friendly. There are five Good Karma Flaxmilk® products:

Growing the non-dairy category
Good Karma Foods has been operating for 20 years but the branded Good Karma Flaxmilk® is relatively new launching four years ago. In the last two to three years, the brand has tripled helping to grow the dairy-free category in the US.2
“There are many consumers coming to the category for different reasons,” said Doug Radi, CEO of Good Karma Foods. “The dairy intolerant and dairy allergic were some of the earliest people to the category. With 1 in 13 children in the U.S. having a food allergy nowadays (Food Allergy Research Education) there is an increased need for foods with no allergens. “Vegans have been coming to this category for a long time, but what is interesting is that more recently consumers, largely led by millennials are wanting to have more balance in their diets between plant and animal-based foods. Also, this category is attracting people for environmental reasons – because plant-based agriculture is more sustainable than animal-based.”
Pour it forward
Good Karma is more than just a name, it is the inspiration behind everything the company does. Its mission is to inspire goodness through positive energy. “Our founder Loren Wallis learned early on that whatever positive or negative actions he put into the world came back around,” adds Mr Radi. “The more he radiated goodness, the more others in his community were inspired to find goodness within themselves. With that notion, a tiny flaxseed, and his passion for a healthy lifestyle, a new household staple was born – Good Karma Flaxmilk®. Since then, Loren and all the Good Karma team have set out on a mission towards goodness.” The Good Karma Flaxmilk® packaged in convenient Pure-Pak® cartons with closure is sold nationwide across the US in approximately 6,000 retail outlets.
