Voelkel started commercially producing quality natural juices in 1936, but dates back even further to the 1920s with 1st generation founders Karl and Margret Voelkel growing organic fruit and pressing juices.
Today, Voelkel still specializes in organic cultivation and the natural, gentle treatment and processing of fruit and vegetables. The company practices its production as a craft and does not work with large industrial methods to ensure that high quality is maintained. The present Voelkel range of 170 products includes ‘fresh-from-the-field’ vegetable juices, vegetable and fruit juices, NFC juice and fruit juice drinks. The premium products are mostly produced as private label for organic and health food shops in Germany. Filled on an E-PS120A filling machine several of the Voelkel organic products are now packaged in 500ml, 750ml and 1000ml Pure-Pak® Sense Aseptic cartons. Products filled in the new cartons include carrot juice, sauerkraut juices, red beet juice, tomato juice and multifruit juices.
