Today, gingerbread is a traditional and popular Christmas treat with many food and beverage manufacturers bringing out special festive flavours. Skånemejerier Dairy offers a special Pepparkaka flavoured ‘A’ probiotic yoghurt and FIL sour milk from November, both packaged in 1 litre Pure-Pak® Sense cartons. The limited special edition ‘A’ yoghurt with added Acidophilus bacteria which aids digestion features gingerbread as a ‘Novelty’ flavour. The sour milk is also available in gingerbread flavour over the holiday period and is a firm favourite with kids. Both products are packaged in the waste saving Pure-Pak® Sense cartons which feature icons to help consumers utilise the ‘easy-to-fold’ lines which enables them to squeeze out significantly more product, and fold the used pack for recycling. Falköpings Mejeri Dairy revisits a Christmas favourite with its ängens sour milk private label for retail brand Lidl in a seasonal gingerbread in 1 litre Pure-Pak® Diamond carton. The dairy recommends consumers to pour the ‘delicious’ combination of kefir and gingerbread over muesli for a ‘hearty’ breakfast or snack. It even suggests adding crushed gingerbread biscuits as a finishing touch. Also from Falköpings Mejeri Dairy is its own brand Christmas gingerbread kefir, which mixes the traditional spices cinnamon and cloves used in the making of gingerbread to make it even tastier. The special festive products are available in 1 litre Pure-Pak® Diamond cartons for a limited time over the Christmas holiday period.
