Tropicana launches ‘Fresh & Light’ range in Pure-Pak® cartons
To meet the growing demand for both great taste and healthy choices, Tropicana has launched its new Fresh & Light juice range in the UK. Landing on all major British retailer shelves this spring in Pure-Pak® cartons, ‘Fresh & Light’ brings the fresh taste of Tropicana with less sugar for a lighter alternative to standard fruit juice products.
Launched at the end of March 2025 and to roll out across all major UK supermarkets by the end of April, the new range is a blend of pressed fruits and water to provide a reduced sugar juice drink. “The juice category has seen a decline in shoppers due to the rising cost of fruit juice and concerns over sugar intake, so Tropicana has addressed those with the launch of Fresh & Light,” said Sophie Loveday-Davies, Tropicana Marketing Manager.
Thanks to Tropicana’s fruit blending expertise, Fresh & Light provides consumers with the same quality but with naturally less sugar compared to the market average blended juice or apple and grape juice. The new launch also provides retailers with an opportunity to bring lost shoppers back into the category and drive category value and volume.
Sophie Loveday-Davies, Tropicana Marketing ManagerMore than one third of consumers have claimed that sugar was the main driver for them reducing or stopping juice consumption (Zappi, June 2024) so we have created Fresh & Light, made with delicious, pressed fruits blended with water to provide a reduced sugar and refreshing juice drink for the whole family.
Five new products, in three flavors, have been launched in the new Fresh & Light range all in 850ml and 1.45l Pure-Pak® cartons.
Nikolaos Kokidis, Packaging Procurement Lead Europe, TropicanaThe Pure-Pak® carton is a well-known and trusted pack for our brand which is also fully recyclable in the UK. For this latest innovation, the carton brings the Tropicana convenience and sustainability that our consumers value.

Tropicana Fresh & Light is also priced at an affordable entry point to branded juices, offering consumers a healthy and refreshing option that won’t break the bank,” concludes Sophie Loveday-Davies.
Selected Tropicana Fresh & Light products are available from Asda and Ocado from 27 March. All the new range will be available from Sainsbury’s/Spar/ Nisa/Amazon Fresh from the end of April, and Morrisons/Tesco from early May onwards.
