Field Service Engineer

Our service organization in Sweden is seeking one Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be a part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering technical products and support to our customers by providing preventive maintenance and technical services.

You will act as an ambassador for Elopak and help maintain the company’s reputation for commitment and service worldwide. That’s why we consider this role to be of great importance

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Service, Maintenance, and Upgrades: You’ll be involved in servicing, maintaining, and upgrading packaging machines. New installations may also be a part of the tasks.
  • Travel: The role requires some travel. Our service technicians are on scheduled standby, which means occasional work during non-standard hours.
  • Customer Interaction: You’ll enjoy meeting customers, understanding their needs, and delivering high-standard service.


  • Collaboration and Flexibility: You should work well in a team and adapt to changing situations.
  • Positive Attitude: Be positive and outgoing.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Understand customer requirements and provide excellent service.
  • Engagement and Resilience: Handle pressure and perform effectively.
  • Planning and Initiative: Demonstrate good planning skills and take initiative.
  • Independence: Work independently, handling both theory and practical tasks.
  • Computer Literacy: Knows how to use a computer.
  • Education: Completed training as an engineer, industrial mechanic, mechanic, mechatronics technician, or a comparable qualification with a mechanical focus. PLC knowledge is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Very good knowledge of English and Swedish (Scandinavian) at a minimum communication level.
