Maintenance Supervisor (Little Rock, Arkansas)

PURPOSE

Elopak Inc. is currently building a state of the art manufacturing facility in Little Rock, Arkansas and needs a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all plant and equipment install, maintenance as well as the maintenance department. The plant will operate 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians.
  • Create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance, prolong equipment lifespan and minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime.
  • Schedule and oversee repairs, inspections, and equipment installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
  • Establish and track all maintenance and parts inventory.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and facilities to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  • Monitor equipment performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Diagnose work orders and develop effective solutions to resolve them promptly.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for supplies, specialized repairs or technical support as needed.
  • Investigate equipment failures or breakdowns to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage projects such as equipment installation.
  • Must have health and safety mindset.

SCHEDULE:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
On call and weekends as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience in maintenance operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
Hands on approach to troubleshooting and training.
