Senior Communications Manager


About the role:

As a Senior Communications Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of this transformation, shaping our brand position, developing the future narrative, and connecting with audiences worldwide.

You will be part of a talented team of ten, reporting directly to our Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to drive brand awareness, and improve company reputation to achieve global growth
  • Based on data and best practices, utilize several communication disciplines to realize strategy and initiatives (e.g., content production, channel development and optimization, analytics etc.)​
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including top management, to ensure alignment of and implementation of the corporate communication agenda​ towards target groups such as investors, media, customers, consumers and partners.
  • Develop and implement frameworks for sound communication governance, including policies, processes across all communication disciplines (e.g., investor and crisis communication)​
  • Drive global crisis management processes from a communication point of view if/when needed​
  • Manage the communication budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)​
  • Track, measure, and analyze performance and effectiveness using relevant analytics tools and metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize communication initiatives​
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in brand, marketing, and communications.

The position will be located at Spikkestad (Asker)/Skøyen.  Some travel will be expected.

Position title will be determined based on the candidate’s competence and experience.

  • Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, Public Affairs, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 8-10 + years of experience in corporate communications, including investor communication, PR/media and crisis communications. Recent experience involving communication management and/or directorship
  • Proven track record in both developing and implementing communication strategies and related initiatives for large, multinational and stock listed companies
  • Well versed in working with several stakeholders, including top management, partners and suppliers
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English
