SHANDRA KINDERMANN DE FAVERI, SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT COORDINATOR IN P&C, ELOPAK NORWAY

When Shandra Kindermann De Faveri saw the open position at Elopak, she decided to go for it even though the description didn’t exactly match her experience. She loves the diversity of both her tasks and her colleagues — and she’s a proud ambassador for the Elopak family.

Shandra just celebrated her one-year anniversary at Elopak. As Supply Chain Project Coordinator, her role is to be the bridge between the central supply chain function in Norway and all the different plants and departments around the world.

One company. One core.

Shandra prefers busy days packed with a mix of operational tasks and interaction with many different areas, people, and cultures. That very mix is the reason she originally applied for the job — and why she still feels she’s in the perfect position.

Her many interactions with colleagues across the globe have also given her a unique insight into what is really means to be part of the Elopak family and its mission — and she can confirm that it’s the same throughout.

“No matter where in Elopak you work, you know what’s important — you know our core.”

A detour with a perfect landing

It wasn’t written in the stars that Shandra and Elopak would be such a great match. She originally graduated as an electrical engineer, but also holds a master’s in project management as well as a master’s in fashion marketing. She even graduated as an aroma therapist right before joining Elopak —but now feels she’s right where she wants to be.

According to Shandra, the main reason why Elopak is such a special place to be is the work environment, which she credits to the people here. Everybody is very friendly, helpful, responsible with their tasks —and always happy to work together to overcome challenges and reach common goals. No silos here.

“You can tell that everyone here wants to do the best for Elopak.”

Proud ambassador

Despite not yet speaking Norwegian, Shandra — who is originally from Brazil — felt well-received by her new colleagues from day one.

She therefore takes great pride in telling family and friends about not only Elopak’s strong environmental focus but also how amazing it has been to become part of a truly international and inclusive company that embraces such a diverse workforce.

“I’m very proud of how my colleagues have welcomed me with open arms.”
